Renaldo Edmondson
The founder of Be The Best Basketball, Renaldo Edmondson has an impressive background of experience in working with young people and schools. Now at the age of 24, he has been coaching basketball actively for 8 years, played professional basketball in the UK for 3 years and studied as a student athlete in the United States of America on a full basketball scholarship. He has three and a half years of mentoring experience (working in four different secondary schools over that time), starting a full time post in secondary education at the young age of 20 years old. A specialist in working with young people with disaffected backgrounds and behaviour difficulties, Renaldo is the innovator for the BTB Basketball programs that are offered today.
He is also the designer and maintainer of the btb basketball website and believes it is imperative to be well versed academically, physically and spiritually.
His words:

I have lived by these principles my whole life and it has brought me great success. I now have a greater responsibility to pass this understanding onto the young people I work with!”
